This book has very interesting ideas, and you really have to think while reading it, but the story and the writing were kind of dull. Consciousness-raising, as in Marx although the “Egalian” version of Marx is Matrax egalja, is an important part of the development of the characters, as they go from innocent and complicit teenage boys to men who are aware of their own oppression.

Books by Gerd Brantenberg. Las hijas de Egalia by Gerd Brantenberg. Men cannot be farmers because how could they truly understand earth rhythms. I read this for Women and Gender Studies.

Since she has been a writer full-time. Made me feel like a little girl.

The main character gets raped but this is not dwelt on and he’s basically fine afterwards. Refresh and try again.

It’s not a comfortable read, nor an easy one, and those who really dislike it might do well to truly and genuinely investigate why. I found Brantenberg’s alternate reality ed be both humorous and tragic at the same time. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
