In what order should the books be read? Any order you desire. The novels have connected worlds and characters, but knowledge of For Darkness Shows the Stars is not a pre-requisite for understanding Across a Star-Swept Sea.
Similarly, the digital prequels, though they take place before the events of each novel, were written long after I wrote the dtars. I haven’t read Persuasion or The Scarlet Pimpernel. Should I read them first or watch the movies? The books are perfectly enjoyable without any prior knowledge of the classics that inspired them.
