Not just anyone can visit Broken Heart, Oklahoma, especially since all the single moms – like me, Patsy Donahue — have been turned into vampires. At the end I was surprised everything was wrapped up to quickly, but I guess since this guy has been a pain in the butt for 3 books its time to move on to someone else. Entertaining read as long micheld you don’t ask to many questions along the lines of What supernatural creature would want to work at the grocery store that you still need for the kids’ food?

She binds with him and truly loves him. What are her thoughts when Terran tells her they have to hurry and get moving? OK I officially give up on this series, gets two stars because the book had promise it just delivered miserably. Yes, a whole lot of wanting people dead going on. Perfect for reading on my floaty in the pool at the very least. I wanted more about the Ancients, more about the prophecy, just more in general that would have made the story better.
It had the right amount of everything and thankfully not too much of one thing or another.

Vampires don’t need a whole lot of hair maintanence – so she is seriously thinking about adding Shifter grooming to the sign so she can drum in the werewolf business to keep busy. I think it would be easy to go overboard with that – so I am happy that it’s handled well and that – as a person with no children in her life – it doesn’t alienate me and turn me off the series.

She has her hands full figuring out how to deal with her new lack of clients now that there are so few humans in Broken Heart, and with her rebellious sixteen-year-old son, Wilson.

The stress would kill me, if I wasn’t already dead. I like more strife and struggle. It seemed as though someone published the outline for the book, rather than bothering to actually write it.
Divorcee Patsy Donahue is an undead hair stylist whose clientele has dwindled down to human donors and shaggy lycanthropes. I know we need to know this information The second half felt too forced and rushed, though. Patsy’s in bed in a cave with Gabriel; her son Wilson is at the compound miles away.
